A MAN CALLED OTTO is a film starring Tom Hanks directed by Marc Forster. The shots below were produced by Axis Studios in Bristol. I worked remotely for the studio as a 3D generalist, which gave me an opportunity to contribute across several disciplines of the 3D pipeline.

My main task was surfacing the Chevrolet Silverado and animating its wheels. Since filming took place before the actual car model was manufactured, it had to be added in postproduction. A car with similar proportions was used on set as a reference. Its body was tracked, and a full CG version of the Silverado was composited over the footage. I also worked on some minor tasks involving the neighborhood buildings and camera layout.
